The client wanted a complete renovation of the Les Ambassadeurs restaurant and bar, whose world-class chefs and sommeliers offer a selection of cuisines and fine wines. The inspiration for the interior was the Art Deco period, with sleek white Dolomite marble and chic black fittings.
Using detailed architects’ and designers’ drawings, we helped create bespoke plasterwork elements with an Art Deco inspiration. We hand-crafted scalloped cornices and light troughs, panelled staircases and abstract friezes encircling the room, as well as a coffered ceiling that was stunning, all of which formed part of the plasterwork renovation. The bespoke columns and plaster capitals – hand-painted to replicate marble – ensured a grand entrance to the hall.
